Celebrating the Keeshond as Your Companion Whether he shows in conformation, or competes in performance events, or just sits on your feet as you watch TV of an evening, a Keeshond is first and foremost your companion. Here at the KCA National we like to recognize this feature of the breed. So for this moment forget about ribbons and prizes and let’s focus on what great friends they are around the house. 7 PM on Thursday will be the companions’ time to shine! Do they do tricks? Polish them up and present them in center ring for all to marvel at and enjoy. Do they have funny little habits? Do they outsmart you? Do they act like zany nutcases whenever there is ANY possibility of food in the offing? Share your stories with us all. Do a little writeup for the presenter to read while your goofy guy does his “little turn on the runway”. Let’s share the fun we enjoy with our dogs.
